IT'S A WRAP! Five weeks, ten seminars, and hundreds of cruisers participating. Should we reprise this in 2027? The crew here on Totem welcome feedback on any aspect; please get in touch.
* Pau Hana [pow hah-nah]: Hawai'ian. Put your work down, relax, and connect with your people.
This Zoom seminar series is inspired by Mike Danielson of PV Sailing, who for years provided selfless and pivotal support for the Pacific fleet. His passing in December left a gap - and a call: BE LIKE MIKE!
Presented by a combination of local experts, boaters who crossed this past year, and Sailing Totem: stepping up to share their South Pacific knowledge and experience. Learn from them – ask anything! There is no fee for these seminars. Cruisers help cruisers. It’s core to cruising culture!
Registration required: events listed below. All events at 4pm Puerto Vallarta / 5pm Panama time; replays and updates will be shared to the South Pacific Crossing WhatsApp group, and the Pacific Voyagers Facebook group.

We're Jamie and Behan from Sailing Totem.
Previously we gave seminars in person to the fleet assembled in Mexico as they prepared for the big crossing to the Marquesas. Organizing this series is our response to the tragic passing of Mike Danielson: he hosted the fleet at his home in La Cruz, Mexico, where we collaborated on many seminars together over the years.
Sharing from our experience via Zoom is part of our DNA, something we've done for a decade as cruising coaches. With Mike's passing, this series felt like something we could do to carry on his spirit - despite our location on the far side of the Pacific. We hope you find it helpful!
